Podcast Test #3 - I think I've got it

We are getting closer to understand what is necessary to use Blogger as a podcasting tool.

New Pedal!!!

John got a new Fab Overdrive Pedal... ITS AWESOME!!!!!!

Band meeting... sunday... my house dont know what time PEACE!

John just bought his new Blue Metalic Squier Stratocaster Affinity Series and a Marshall 50 watt amp. GET YOU GEAR AND LETS GET ROCKING!

We only have 2 months before the variety show and we need to have something ready... we need a drummer... and Christian... LEARN TO PLAY THE BASS LIKE A PRO!!! and get a job and get a new blue bass somewhere!

Announcements!

I think that for the variety show we should do Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton and then a fast song like Small Town.

Brandon thinks we should do Every Rose has its Thorn and Purple Haze.

Lets be realistic people... Every Rose and Purple Haze both have solos that i am pretty sure Brandon cant MASTER in 2 months... Which is why i think we should do Wonderful tonight and John Mellencamps Small Town. These songs are easy to play. and have Quick Easy Solos!

For Wonderful Tonight John would do the lead guitar and vocals, brandon would do a riff that is in the background of the song... and i dont know what gary will do we can figure something out... And for Small Town Brandon will do lead guitar and gary can do Rythem.

So i think we should master these two songs... Perform them and learn all the other songs!

I would also like to say that as much as I LOVE AC/DC WE ARE NOT PERFORMING ANY AC/DC SONGS! Only two people can sing AC/DC songs... Bon Scott and Brian Johnson. So we are NOT doing any AC/DC Songs...

We can do lots of Eric Clapton songs because my voice fits his music better.

Last thing... I want to say one thing... As much as i know some of you in the band want to sing a song or two... But if you cannot sing! YOU ARENT GOING TO FOR THE BAND! The last thing a starting band needs is a bad reputation... So in order to figure out if you can sing or not you will have to sing in front of Dina... and she will be the judge...

1. Pick out our song for the variety show.
2. Start a Left Hazed Savings "Jar"
3. Decide what items will be purchased with our own money, and the money that will be put in the Savings Jar.

All right Left Hazed Band Members... Here is your update for August 13th 2007

1. We are raising money to get new 50-watt amplifiers, pedals, drum sets, guitars, and other things we will need. SO FIND A WAY TO MAKE SOME CASH!
2. All things purchased through Left Hazed will be kept at John's house for 2 reasons... Band Manager and I HAVE THE SPACE! But anything purchased by yourself can be kept at your house. For Example. If Christain purchased a new Bass Amplifier. He can keep it. But if he put money into the Left Hazed Savings. It would stay at John's house.
3. We are going to be having a band meeting before school starts so we can choose what song to do for the Variety Show at the High School this year. SO START THINKING!
4. We need a Sponsor. If you know of any businesses that would be willing to sponsor us. ASK THEM! We need all the help we can get!!!
5. We have a new domain for the site. http://www.lefthazed.com/ NO MORE FREEWEBS! Althought that is what we use for our building.
6. Drummers. We have almost found someone who could possibly play drums for us. And we are pretty sure David will be playing keyboards. We just need to get some keyboards!
7. PRACTICE YOUR INSTRUMENTS AS MUCH AS YOU CAN!!!
